This song was written by Danny Kaheaku from the group Kulia. He asked me to compose the music with an R&B feel. I changed some of the lyrics to fit the music I was thinking of. Kulia recorded it back in 1998 on their self-titled album. I asked Danny if I could record this song again. We made it a ballad this time and gave it more of an acoustic love song feel.
